Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Location – Florida (Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando)

Salaries range from $130k–$180k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme.

An established and growing engineering consultancy delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across Florida. This opportunity offers the chance to take on a lead role managing key water and wastewater infrastructure projects in one of Florida’s fastest growing regions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage engineering design and construction projects focused on water/wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure.

Serve as Engineer of Record and act as the primary technical lead on assigned projects.

Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules in coordination with clients and internal teams.

Coordinate with subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.

Provide oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff, managing workloads and deliverables.

Prepare and review technical reports, engineering specifications, and cost estimates.

Conduct site visits and provide field observations to ensure quality construction.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.

 

The successful candidate must have/show:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater projects.

PE License in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain promptly).

Strong client-facing communication skills and experience working with regulatory agencies.

Proficiency in technical writing, engineering design procedures, and project management.

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and thrive in a team environment.

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
