Transportation Project Manager – Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach (Roadway)

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading successful delivery of roadway projects from design through to final completion.
- Ensure client satisfaction for delivered projects with FDOT and local municipalities.
- Preparing scope, schedule, budgets and task orders for projects.
- Overseeing the design for roadway, highway and/or traffic engineering projects.
- Managing project staff and design consultants to keep projects on budget and schedule.
- Peforming QA/QC work and act as technical representative.
The successful candidate must have/show:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT Certification required
- Florida PE License preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 5+ years experience in Transportation design and plan production
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in Roadway Design
- Practical working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, and the MUTCD as well as FDOT Design manuals and processes
- Experience with Microstation, Geopak or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
- FDOT experience
- Familiar with engineering, computational, and modelling software (Revit, GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Hydraulic, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and efficiently
