Job Title: Switchgear Engineer

Location: Texas (Travel Required – up to 40%)

Salary Range: $45–$55 per hour, plus 401(k), Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, test, and commission medium- and low-voltage switchgear and ATS systems.
• Perform site assessments, inspections, and troubleshooting of existing switchgear installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and field technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend solutions for enhanced system reliability and efficiency.
• Travel to client sites as needed (up to 40%) to oversee installations, commissioning, and maintenance.

The Successful Candidate Must Have/Show:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in switchgear engineering.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage switchgear, ATS, and related power systems.
• Proven experience with design, commissioning, and troubleshooting of critical electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
