Substation Director
Location – Remote
Salary range $200k - $220k DOE, plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus

Our client are a medium sized engineering firm, with an excellent company culture having been developed over several years. They have incredibly strong relations with several of the utilities throughout the US and a reputation that considers them one of the most reliable engineering firms in the country. Key Responsibilities
- This position will oversee the operational control of the Substation Design team where you’ll improve processes and train and mentor your team
- You will have 4 managers reporting into you and a department of up to 50 individuals, indirectly
- You’ll be responsible for department P&L, hiring needs, looking after current client relationships as well as driving growth and bringing on new clients
- Responsible for the profitability of the substation department as well as tracking deliverables
The successful candidate must have/show:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical)
- 10+ years’ experience in field of Substation engineering with strong background in design and 5 years managing teams
- Successful history of Project Management and client engagement.
- Prior experience with financial reporting
- P.E is required and a PMP is desirable
- Must be from a consulting background
- Ability to travel up to 20%
