Mid-Level Physical Substation Engineer
Location – Remote
Salaries range from $80k-$120k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Generous PTO
About the Client
Our client is a large consulting firm which was established in the late 50’s. They work across multiple different sectors with a reputable presence in Power Delivery. They have an amazing culture and are really employee focused! They have an impressive client base working alongside some of the top utilities across the US and are looking to expand by up to 50% in the next three years.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop/modify substation drawing packages
Covering all physical aspects of substation design
Provide direction to designers and CAD technicians and performing QA/QC checks
Help develop and mentor junior engineers/interns
The successful candidate must have/show:
Bachelor’s Degree in either Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
3+ years’ experience in field of substation engineering
Understanding of Substation layouts and equipment
Successful history working within Substation Engineering
EIT or P.E. preferred
