Engineer – Water & Wastewater (PE)
Location – FL (Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville)
Salaries range from $130k – $180k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme.

• I'm excited to announce Venda Search are working with a leading Water & Wastewater engineering firm across Florida. The company is known for delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions to address complex water-related challenges. They are seeking experienced, licensed Professional Engineers to lead and support a variety of municipal and regional water & wastewater projects in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the design and implementation of water & wastewater infrastructure projects
• Oversee junior engineering staff and review technical work for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct hydraulic modelling and infrastructure assessments for utility systems
• Develop detailed engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations
The successful candidate must have/show:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
• PE license in the state of Florida
• 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater design and project management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD)
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Experience working with municipal clients and regulatory permitting processes
• Familiarity with GIS, SCADA integration, and sustainable infrastructure design is a plus
