Salaries range from $120k–$150k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of traffic signal projects for municipal, state, and private sector clients.
• Prepare and review detailed signal design plans, including wiring diagrams, phasing, timing, and equipment specifications.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality control throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners, roadway designers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct and review traffic signal warrant analyses, intersection control evaluations, and signal timing studies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards (MUTCD, FDOT, and others).
• Act as the main client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring responsive service.
• Mentor junior staff, supporting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in proposal writing, scope development, and business development activities.
The successful candidate must have/show:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, or related Engineering field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of traffic signal design experience, including 3+ years in project or team management.
• Strong technical knowledge of traffic signal operations, signal timing, and related systems.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, SIDRA, or similar tools.
• Experience working with FDOT and local agency standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, teams, and client relationships effectively.
