Job Title: Switchgear Engineer

Location: Illinois (Travel Required – up to 40%)

Salary Range: $40–$50 per hour, plus 401(k), Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, test, and implement switchgear and ATS systems for a variety of critical power applications.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external contractors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
• Provide field support and technical expertise, including traveling to client sites across the United States as needed.
• Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and commissioning of custom power solutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for both engineering teams and manufacturing partners.
• Develop and maintain documentation, drawings, and technical manuals to support installed systems.

The Successful Candidate Must Have/Show:
• Strong experience with switchgear, ATS systems, and critical power solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time, including cross-state flights when necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams and contract manufacturers.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
