Substation Drafter
Location – Remote
Salaries range from $50k-$70k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus Schemes and ESOP plans.

They have incredibly strong relations with several of the utilities throughout the US and a reputation that considers them one of the most reliable engineering firms in the country. Key Responsibilities
Prepare P&C or physical electrical drawings for high voltage utility substations projects
Work alongside other drafters and engineers to correct any design discrepancies
Confident in self checking work before handing over to a supervisor
Working to strict deadlines while maintaining quality requirements
Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, whilst being flexible to potential changes in workloads as changes in projects occur
The successful candidate must have/show
Associate degree in Design & Drafting Technology or related field of study.
3+ years design experience
Previous experience drafting high voltage substations
Knowledge of transmission and distribution projects in addition to substation projects preferred
