Transportation Project Manager

Location - Florida 

Salaries range from $160k-$220k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus Schemes and ESOP plans.

  • They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Project Manager to oversee and manage transportation projects throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation engineering and project management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge transportation solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transportation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project risks and challenges.
  • Optimize project efficiency and performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

 

The successful candidate must have/show:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in transportation project management, with a focus on highways, roads, bridges, or transit systems.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, engineering design standards, and construction practices.
