Senior Critical Power Field Engineer (UPS Specialist)

Salaries range from $45k–$55k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems, DC power systems, battery plants, PDUs, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues and perform advanced troubleshooting at the component level.
• Conduct site assessments, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance with a focus on reliability and uptime.
• Provide expert technical support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
• Mentor and train junior field technicians, promoting safety and technical excellence.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, FCC, and FAA standards across all field operations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high service quality and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate must have/show:
• 5+ years’ experience in critical power field service or technical support, ideally within the UPS or power distribution sector.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical theory, power conversion, and battery technologies.
• Proven ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform system-level troubleshooting.
• Previous military electronics or avionics background preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel to customer sites as required.
