Project Manager - Construction

Location – Texas (Remote with Travel) 

Salaries range from $130k - $170k, 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus Schemes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee substation projects from conception to completion, including procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Interface between engineering departments and clients, ensuring drawings meet requirements, customer comments are implemented, and deliverables are on schedule
  • Maintain project budgets (ranging from small projects to $150-200 million), develop timelines, and ensure adherence to financial targets
  • Coordinate with field teams, ensure constructability of designs, and manage on-site activities for both greenfield and brownfield substation projects
  • Ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining customer satisfaction

The successful candidate must have/show:

  • Understanding of substation equipment, systems, and construction processes; preferably with professional engineering credentials or equivalent technical knowledge
  • Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Suite applications
  • Experience working with various substation types (AIS, GIS) and voltage levels (typically 44kV up to 550kV)
