Mid-Level Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Location – Richmond, VA

Salaries range from $95K–$125K plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee Water/Wastewater projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to scope
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and addressing any project-related challenges
  • Handle all project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, and coordination with subcontractors
  • Monitor and control project financials and ensure timely payment of subcontractors
  • Create project-specific health and safety plans in collaboration with the safety team
  • Ensure that all deliverables comply with QA/QC standards as outlined in the Quality Management Plan
  • Communicate project updates effectively to clients, internal teams, and senior leadership
  • Participate in monthly review meetings with operations to assess project performance

 

The successful candidate must have/show:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management
  • Demonstrated success in managing technical project scope, budget, and timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging for various audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Deltek Vision is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently in a fast-paced setting
