Mid-Level Engineer – Water Infrastructure
Richmond, VA
Salaries range from $95K–$125K plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate complex phases of water infrastructure projects from concept through completion
- Deliver high-quality engineering solutions in water and wastewater treatment design
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineering staff
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, design calculations, and report preparation
- Review project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
- Identify design improvements and recommend technical enhancements to boost efficiency and performance
- Apply engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and related modeling platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with project managers to meet deadlines and objectives
The successful candidate must have/show:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- A current Professional Engineer (PE) license
- At least 4 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design
- Strong command of engineering principles with hands-on experience applying industry standards
- Proficiency in design software and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and regulatory requirements relevant to engineering practice
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Proven leadership ability and a collaborative work ethic
- Competence with MS Office Suite
- Membership or involvement in a professional engineering organization (preferred)
- A valid driver’s license
