Vice President - Market Segment Leader – Power Gen / Energy

Location – Hybrid in Boston, MA or Indianapolis, IN but can consider remote – Up to 50% travel required (Mainly NE)

Salaries range from $180k - $200K with competitive PTO, medical benefits, bonus and equity incentive

 

Our Client:

  • Our client is a large, established firm with 2,000 employees across the US. Headquartered in New York, they are looking to grow out their Power Generation and Energy unit in both the North East and Midwest with team size of 90. As a Private Equity backed business, growth internally is fantastic and the culture within the Power Delivery team is exceptional.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growing existing client relationships.
  • Expanding into new IOU’s, midstream, hospitals, municipalities, schools & federal entities.
  • Ability to coordinate with other Market Segment Leaders to develop divisive growth strategies.
  • Oversee the development of the annual sales budget and pipeline, while representing the organization through active participation in networking groups, conferences, meetings, and industry events."
  • Able to identify and target various utilities in a target footprint.

 

The successful candidate must have/show:

  • PE Preferred but not essential.
  • 10 years minimum in engineering consulting, business development, sales, or a related role
  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ideally from a design or EPC background with high level technical skills
  •  Existing contacts in Geothermal market and federal companies like the DOD and Military
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, establishing long-term partnerships, and increasing market share.
