Field Service Engineer

Salaries range from $70k-$90k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme.
Our Client:
• Leading provider of critical power solutions supporting data centers and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission, maintain, and provide emergency support for UPS and related critical power equipment at customer sites.
• Perform commissioning-focused design reviews, prepare test procedures and reports, and oversee on-site testing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, emergency response, equipment start-up, and field modifications.
• Attend periodic training on various OEM units and SOPs, including testing and rebuilding systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with technical support and contribute to Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
The successful candidate must have/show:
• 3-5+ years of experience in critical power systems with component-level troubleshooting ability (UPS, batteries, PDU, STS).
• Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and manufacturer specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, manage Field Service Reports.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Technical degree or equivalent technician experience; UPS OEM factory training or industry experience.
• Previous military experience is a plus.
