Lead Electrical Engineer – Water/Wastewater
Location: Remote / Office-based in Columbus, Ohio
Salaries range from $130k–$160k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus scheme.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to head their Water/Wastewater Electrical Group. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Serve as the technical lead, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project activities and optimize design solutions
• Monitor team utilization and ensure project efficiency through effective resource management
• Contribute to business development by supporting proposal preparation and client engagement
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes and safety regulations
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
• Support career growth across the team and help foster a positive, performance-driven culture
The successful candidate must have/show:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• At least 10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex engineering projects
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Advanced knowledge of design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Understanding of engineering QA/QC procedures and relevant legal/business practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Experience with project budgeting and financial tracking
• Membership or involvement in a professional engineering society (preferred)
• A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset
