Critical Power Service Technician

Salaries range from $70k-$90k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme.
Our Client:
• Leading electrical power systems services firm providing end-to-end solutions for critical power infrastructure across data centers, healthcare, telecom, and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of critical power systems including UPS, batteries, and generators.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues; conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare commissioning test procedures, reports, and oversee on-site testing.
• Interpret electrical schematics and adhere to strict safety protocols.
• Complete service work orders with high-quality execution and customer service.
• Communicate technical information effectively with customers and vendors.
• Lead and train direct reports; provide customer training as needed.
• Develop Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs).
• Perform equipment start-ups, field modifications, and occasional in-house system testing or rebuilds.
• Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have/show:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Power Systems, Battery Technologies, or Electronics.
• High School Diploma or GED; Electrical Technology certificate preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to respond quickly in high-stakes situations.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s license.
• Willingness to work weekends and travel as needed.
• Ability to pass customer background checks and drug screenings.
