Job Title: Battery Technician
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Compensation: $36–$46/hr plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, and Bonus Scheme.

• Growing service backlog creating a need for additional battery specialists
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, commission, maintain, and replace UPS battery systems (VRLA & Lithium-ion)
• Perform battery testing, load bank testing, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot battery and DC power issues in live critical environments
• Complete service reports, test documentation, and compliance paperwork
• Travel to customer sites across the Pittsburgh region (occasional regional travel)
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and industry standards at all times
The Successful Candidate Must Have/Show:
• Hands-on experience with UPS battery systems in data centers or critical facilities
• Strong understanding of DC power systems and battery maintenance procedures
• Electrical or technical background (formal training preferred)
• Ability to work independently in live, mission-critical environments
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
